Postal votes Postal voting is another way of casting your vote during an election. Instead of going to the polling station and completing the ballot paper, the ballot paper is sent direct to the address of your choice. Once you have completed the ballot paper and filled in all the necessary paperwork you can then send it back. You can either post it back in the pre-paid envelope provided, take it to a polling station in the ward or constituency or bring it to the Council Offices. A postal vote application form can be sent out on request. To request a postal vote please call (01509) 634613 or email electoral.services@charnwood.gov.uk
